The main one spans five chapters. The protagonist is God's beloved puppet who lives in a huge garden. Out of loneliness, the puppet seeks company. God grants that, but with certain conditions...In the second story, an angel is kicked down (literally) to Earth to experience some hardship as said angel has a problem with granting people's wishes and prayers.

Men Ji Yu of the Tian Tai Tribe has been invited by Ba Cha Ke Han to live with the tribe of Qi Dan. But because he can't understand the language of Qi Dan, the people of Qi Dan can't get along with Men Ji and vice versa. The only person that Men Ji revealed a slight smile to was the Qi Dan Princess, Ke Yi Gu Chai. In order for Ke Yi to help Men Ji fit into the Qi Dan lifestyle, she vows to teach him what she is best at, the Qi Dan dance.

Demon brothers Tao Tie and Kui Long arrive at a village to prepare to recieve a ritual sacrifice that happens every 10 years. Kui Long introduces himself as Wu Chen to a girl named Tan Hua. Turns out Tan Hua actually died from an illness beforehand but her brother the doctor gave her a medicine that rivived her so that she would be the sacrifice and not him. Neither Kui Long nor Tan Hua know of eachothers role in the approaching ritual...

Zhan is a pet that has been sold to a lot of owners but in turn they have all left him and he always believes it is his fault. He met an old lady and they spent a lot of time together but then her health gets worse and she dies leaving Zhan to go back to the pet shop.
