In order to relieve the financial burden slightly and achieve independence, she finds a live-in work situation at an old mansion. And after saving her from a pervert on the streets, he kisses her...!?3) The Law of Couples (Futari no Housoku) - The Law of Couples states that all things happen in pairs -- including people. Sakiko seems to have found her missing half in Akio, a boy in her same class who always seems to say exactly what she's thinking. But who is she falling in love with? Akio, or the part of herself that she sees in him...? 4) 3) Heart Fruit (Haato no Kajitsu) - Meron and her best friend, Chiho, both have a crush on Uchiyama! Meron finds out after she's already told Chiho that she has a crush, so she needs to lie about who she likes in order to protect Chiho's feelings. She chooses... Ryou!

At age thirteen, Mizuki Ashiya, a Japanese girl growing up in America, saw Izumi Sano high jump on TV for the first time. Amazed by his grace, Mizuki quickly became a huge fan of Sano's. Three years later, high-school age Mizuki decides to return to Japan so that a dream of hers might come true: to see Sano jump in person. Mizuki even goes so far as to transfer into Sano's school, in hopes of being closer to him. Mizuki's wish is granted, and she becomes Sano's roommate. There are two problems, however: Sano has quit the high jump, and he attends an all-boys school, meaning Mizuki now has to disguise herself as a boy morning, noon and night, even in her own room! Unknown to Mizuki, however, Sano finds out her secret fairly quickly, and now a strange feeling has come over the two of them...

High school girl Ai had a strange dream about a childhood past in which she was rescued by a little boy who promised to protect her. The dream seems like a fragment of her memory but she does not have any recollection of the past. Things start to get stranger when there is a guy in her class whom she does not recognize at all. It seems that everyone in the class knows about Akizuki Tohru except for her. Sensing something strange about Tohru, Ai went to conduct an investigation on him and found that the school has no records of him. After confronting him, Tohru eventually admits that he is an ESPer who has infiltrated into the school to investigate on the string of drug-overdose deaths that have been happening in school. This begins the story of Ai's involvement in the life of Tohru and the dangerous events behind the investigation...
