Utori is a young man who hides his special abilities from the world and uses them to discipline bullies. One day, he meets his pursuer, “Death,” who relentlessly chases him. Despite Death’s constant threats, Utori cannot die due to his unique ability. Just when Utori thinks he is out of options, a mysterious figure named Daesan appears to save him. Suddenly a high school student Subaru Natsuki has been summoned to another world on the way back from the convenience store. With the biggest crisis of his life being summoned to another world and no sign of the one who summoned him things become worse when he is attacked. But when he is saved by a mysterious silver-haired girl with a fairy cat, Subaru co-operates with the girl to return the favor. When they finally manage to get a clue Subaru and the girl are attacked and killed by someone. Subaru then awakens in the place he was summoned and notices the ability he gained "Returns by Death" a helpless boy that only has the ability to rewind time by dying. And beyond the despair can he save the girl from the fate of death!

It turns out to be Zelda, Princess of Hyrule, who is imprisoned in her own castles' dungeon. Link heads out to the castle only in time to see his uncle fall to Agunim, Hyrule Castles' wizard. Link's uncle gives him his sword and shield and tells him to save the Princess and he might learn about his shadowy past. Link frees Zelda from her prison, and they escape to the church, where Zelda reveals that Link is the Hero of Hyrule, just before Agunim appears and kidnaps her. Now Link is on a quest to retrieve the legendary Master Sword and save Princess Zelda and the Land of Hyrule.

After establishing an idealized utopian country, the legendary warrior, Hong Gil-Dong, disappeared without a trace. As time passed, the people of the land began to forget about Hong Gil-Dong, who had been enjoying a peaceful existence of anonymity in a small village. Until one day, when a band of unknown warriors invaded the village, leaving it in utter ruin. Now, Hong Gil-Dong has returned, determined to raise his village from the ashes-but in order to accomplish this he will need funds. And so he finds employment as a bounty hunter, capturing wanted criminals. Then, in a twist of fate, Hong Gil-Dong inadvertently rescues the daughter of a wealthy merchant from a kidnapping attempt.
