When Takeru was 10 years old, his town was bombed during an enemy air-raid in which his parents were killed and he was mortally wounded. Sayoko, cut deep with "survivor's guilt" and a "co-dependent" inability to deal with living alone, rashly sells her brain to the Albion Corporation run by a mysterious CEO named Véltare Marçeau in order to pay for a risky surgical operation that Takeru may or may not survive. Her brain is placed in a cybernetic body, the process of which essentially eliminates the brain's memories and heightens its aggression. Her new identity is The White 13, or "The Ice Doll", and for the next five years she is placed on a dogfight circuit fighting other cyborgs in gladiator-style extravaganzas where she eventually becomes the grand champion and obtains the rank of "sirius"...

When Kaoru makes the journey to the mountains, he discovers a young ninja named Kyuma, who lives alone and trains with his ninja dog, Inui. The aging process has stopped and creatures have stayed the same age since they were exposed to the mist.Paze Diamond is a state chimney worker that maintains the piping system that regulates the flow of the blue mist. He is known in the town as a clumsy and unlucky person. Paze is in search of happiness although he doesn’t know what that really means. About the same time he starts seeing blue birds that only he seems to be able to see, Margaret Howell literally falls out of the sky on him. The beautiful and happy Margaret immediately takes interest in Paze. Could this be the happiness Paze has been searching for?

However, her affection toward Loe is brutally crushed before it would even bear fruit and she goes out to vent her sadness. This is when she encounters Cid Leon, who she would ultimately be paid to "protect".

He then meets a girl, Ritori, who offers him a deal that seems to good to be true: she will take care of his debt if he will be her captain and help her with her job.[Note]It seems that this manga has been discontinued because the author became incapacitated during serialization and was not able to keep 2 series running.
