The manga ended abruptly, because the magazine it was being serialized in changed its target public and it was decided that Xenon didn't fit in anymore.

Warriors of Eden follows the story of Dragon Quest VII with a few new touches. Arus along with Keifer and Maribell discover an ancient temple on Estard Island. In the temple they discover tablets that allows them to travel to continents that were sealed away in the past and are revived in the future. Warriors of Eden now adds an elemental warrior with each elemental spirit, starting off with Arus as the Warrior of Water. Fujiwara also ties Warriors of Eden with the Roto series with a character named Bezul. He's the reincarnation of Emblem of Roto's Quadal, a sage who fought with Roto during the final battle with Zoma. His apprentice, Guren, is the Warrior of Fire. And, on top of all that, Arus' lizard is named Gregory and now speaks.

After defeating Karuma, he later sealed Zenki away in a pillar until needed again.Centuries later, his descendant, a school girl named Chiaki Enno (役 小明, Enno Chiaki, or Cherry Night in some dubs) is able to free Zenki, although the demon currently has the form of a brattish demon child. To transform this extremely defiant demon into the form that made him useful by her ancestor, she uses a bracelet that appeared on her wrist when servants of Karuma broke the seal that imprisoned a seed of Karuma. Zenki appears because the seeds of Karuma (which look like eyeballs) start appearing and turning people into monsters and Zenki needed again to eradicate this menace.
