MinMin was a witch who lived in the Magic World and studied magic under Balma-sensei. Because of her stupidity, MinMin was cursed into a doll and exiled to the Human World. As a mini-sized doll, MinMin was able to live and do many things just like normal human, but she can't use magic when she was still that form. One day, MinMin was found by a poor college student named Ichiya who lived in a poor apartment. When he kissed MinMin in her doll form, she changed back into a witch girl. However, every time she went to sleep, she will returned back to her form as a doll, and Ichiya will have to kiss her again.

Hae-Gyeong has a horrible dream in which he meets a terrible group who are killing him saying; "'Boss star' Hae-Deung, the head of Hyeon-Mu! We are here receive your life. Only the universe may know what will be there at the end of this way! Anyhow, you have to die here and now!" At the offset, it seems that Hae-Gyeong is a very ordinary highschool boy. However, the truth is murkier than even he himself knows... Originally Hae-Gyeong was Hae-Deung, King Hyeon-Mu, in the fantasy world, but his power had been sealed through the veiled enmity caused by his entanglement in the Daegyeolgye causing him to be born into the present world.

Kayako is an enthusiastic exorcist from an isolated island who’s been newly-appointed to the big city. She has two familiar spirits (shikigami) that help her who help her cleanse impure spirits: Kagari and Kohaku. A lone mercenary traveling in a foreign land is forced to participate in a street brawl, fighting back-to-back with a gun-toting man wearing a pelt around his shoulders. When they emerge from the attack unscathed, the man orders him to become his bodyguard. Only then does the mercenary-turned-bodyguard learn a surprising fact - this spirited fighter is the King; and between near-daily assassination attempts and His Majesty's obvious disdain for him, his life at the palace is not an easy one. But eventually, the bodyguard begins to realize that there is a reason behind the King's arrogant demeanour - one which he becomes determined to find out. Still... how can he protect a man who doesn't want to be protected?
