Natsume fell in love at first sight with Rui, a very handsome boy she saw near the school gate. That was the first day of the new school term, when she became the second year of her high school. Nearly at the same time she got herself a new friend, Chiyako, a very beautiful transferred student who turned out to be Rui`s older sister. She uses her ability as a musubi-ya to advise her schoolmates on their lovelives, for a fee of course! But upon stumbling upon a hidden room at her school, she sees a mysterious looking white spool of thread that suddenly comes alive and traps her. The next thing she knows, her body has become like a ten-year old kid again and the only way to get back her body is to use the mysterious thread to expel evil spirits and become a real musubi-ya!

Things get complicated when her ex-fiancé Lucin who was long thought to be dead, comes back to the oasis. Even though Lucin does not have any memory of the past, he tells Shakuya that he likes her. Shakuya's mother suggests to decide on one of the two as her fiancé one year from now, judging by Shakuya's flower tattoos which increase in number according to her feelings. The story seems to take place near the end of the Edo period.

It always starts with her as a little girl following a black kitten, she then looks ahead and a panther appears!!! The panther then joins the rest of the pack. And then, unaware of the presence of the little girl, the group starts having "fun."The girl becomes horrified by the scene. She makes a noise and they notice her."Hunt her down! Kill her!" the woman says to the panthers.She managed to escape from the pack, but they got to her parents. In her flashbacks, her parents were chased and fell off a cliff. The authorities told her that it was a car accident. She has lived on the edge of illusion and reality until she sees the photo of 4 successful people in a magazine.A photo is all she needs to confirm what her flashbacks tell her. The people who possess and use these weapons are called "Kiri-Isha" (Slash Doctors). Hibiki, the protagonist of this story, is a Kiri-isha. He is partnered with Kirisa, another Kiri-Isha.
