Ikeda Masaki, called Ikeuchi by his friend, is a college student living alone with his little sister, Minami, who is in grade school, after their father suddenly left one day leaving only a note behind. After thinking about dropping out of university to work and support himself and his little sister, Ikeuchi was encouraged by his best friend, Kanda, who currently has a job after dropping out himself, to continue his studies, and if ever the need arises, Kanda would be there. Ikeuchi believes that even if misfortunes come, as long as he has friends and family, they will be happy.As time goes on, Ikeuchi gets any part-time job he can get to pay the bills. He eventually forgets Minami's birthday, but is saved by Kanda, who not only remembered it, but bought a gift that the little girl really liked. Ikeuchi notices strange behavior on Kanda's part sometimes, however, he pays it no mind.

Upon arrival they meet two additional people who join them, but in the morning of the second day, a female member was found tied & naked. In addition, the exit was locked by someone and the building became a completely enclosed cage. Will this be a repeat of the 'kodoku' that happened 3 years ago?

One day, Rena accidentally swallows something in her mouth during her usual treasure hunting. According to Rika, the seal of the sacred "Fuwarazu Magatama" pairs were broken and Rena must have accidentally swallowed one of them. The magatama holds mysterious magical powers in which a person that has the red magatama will blindly fall in love with anyone with the white magatama.

He tends to be pretty oblivious of most of his actual surroundings, particularly at school. Since his parents have gone overseas for work, his childhood friend Koyomi has taken charge of caring for him. One Wednesday, one of Koyomi's friends is missing, and she seems overly concerned. She explains to Shigure that one month ago, a student at their school threw herself in front of a train. On every Wednesday since then, a girl at their school has killed herself. She warns him not to get involved, but Shigure decides to look for Koyomi's friend.Shigure ends up at the scene of the crime, where he sees a darkly mysterious girl who claims she can peek into people's memories.
