Our main char falls with a big bang for the new beautiful transfer student Natsuki. While he keeps it in himself, he finds out that Natsuki is quite the rebel who does what she wants, she's strong enough to break his mean senpai's arm and send him to the hospital, and she's the one who just broke his bass guitar. He still follows he around and find out that she's quite nice but tries to distance herself from others. The reason is that she's getting married as soon as she graduates. This is also the reason why no one really punish her for doing the stuff she does in school.

The same government that enacted the MIA then introduces another act, the Library Freedom Act (LFA). It allows libraries to become self governing bodies with private armies. Under the LFA, The Library Armed Force is created.

The Nightmare of Fabrication is a beautifully drawn full-colour manga from Yoshitoshi ABe. The 18 page short story can be found in the Lain Omnipresence in Wiredartbook. It's a bonus story which apparently isn't related with neither the anime nor the PS game. It shows characters who were included in the PS game but not in the TV series (like the psychiatrist), but also determinant characters from the anime who didn't appear in the videogame (like Deus).

What would long-term relationships be like if they didn't remove you from the dating pool? Would people be more willing to commit if they knew they could also pick someone else later? Would society really jump to accept this as a new social norm, even if it had become legal?
